Caplor says it was delighted to host the Herefordshire Directors’ Forum – a development programme for professionals from local leading businesses.

Managing director Gareth Williams led a session at the Directors’ Forum which centered around why the company values and corporate responsibilities are an inherent part of the way Caplor does business.

Caplor property md, Sandy Hanson, said: “What a brilliant event.  We appreciate that so many individuals, all successful in their own business, took the time to spend an evening with Caplor but more so that they all valued our efforts and appear to have left inspired.  That’s a great win for us.”

Caplor says it is proud to be able to offer youngsters the chance to test and develop their future career ideas. Annabel, a local Year 10 student who recently completed a week work experience with Caplor to learn more about working within a business, added: “The experience has been really good, and it’s helped a great deal in deciding what I want to be when I’m older. It’s given me a good insight into what business is all about: the employees, the tasks and the outcomes.”

Caplor adds that providing work experience opportunities, along with apprenticeships and graduate schemes, helps to meet its focus on People, Planet and Profit. Enquiries regarding work experience or apprenticeship placements are also welcomed so please contact Mel Preedy on 01432 860644.
