Home Upgrade Show focus on energy efficiency for older properties

Renewable Energy Installer magazine is proud to announce its involvement in both days of the Home Upgrade Show, part of Greater Manchester’s Retrofit Action Week, at Victoria Baths on October 13-14, 2023. We’ll have our stall at booth number HPF9, so be sure to stop by and chat with us.

This event will bring together over 50 manufacturers, suppliers, installers, and experts, making it a must-attend for housing professionals and homeowners alike. The Home Upgrade Show is dedicated to instilling trust and confidence in the retrofit market, helping property owners make informed decisions about energy efficiency upgrades for older properties.

Residents and property owners can explore various solutions and gain valuable advice at the event. It’s an opportunity to discover what’s possible for all types of buildings regarding energy efficiency upgrades.

Energy efficient homes become increasingly important

As the need for energy-efficient homes becomes increasingly important, this event is a great platform for connecting with experts focused on making older homes more energy-efficient, safe, and effective.

One highlight of the show is the focus on cleaner, greener heating, with the Heat Pump Federation leading workshops and offering a Heat Pump Clinic to guide transitioning to electrified heating.

Additionally, several free-to-attend workshops and training sessions will cover various topics, including community-based retrofit approaches, deep retrofit strategies, architect consultations, and navigating the planning system.

British Gas is supporting Retrofit Action Week (RAW), which begins with a Green Open Homes event on Saturday, October 7th, organized by People Powered Retrofit. This event allows you to visit retrofitted properties in Manchester and speak with homeowners who have experienced the benefits of energy-efficient living.
