Gareth was formerly part of Grant UK’s technical team, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role, providing sales support to customers throughout the South West.
As the area sales manager for South West England, Gareth will work with installers, merchants and other heating professionals throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Avon counties.
Gareth will be on hand to provide sales and product support for all of Grant’s sustainable heating solutions, from their HVO-compatible oil-fired boilers and award-winning Aerona³ air source heat pumps through to their underfloor heating systems and other complementary technologies.
10 years specialisation in heating and air conditioning
Gareth started his career in air conditioning and refrigeration after completing his qualifications at college. For over 10 years, Gareth specialised in the heating, and air conditioning sector, including installing air source heat pumps when the technology was in its early development.
In March 2008, Gareth joined Grant UK’s technical team and spent his first three years with the company working as a technical advisor before transitioning to Grant UK’s field service team, where Gareth was the field engineer for the Midlands, South West England and Wales. In 2018, Gareth left Grant UK to set up his own business focused on oil and heat pump installations and maintenance.
In his role as the area sales manager for the South West of England, Gareth can share his extensive knowledge of Grant products with customers.
Tailored advice for customers
Having been an installer and providing both pre and post-installation support throughout his career, Gareth will be on hand to provide the tailored advice that customers need for their next heating project. He will also work with Grant UK’s regional sales manager for the west and sales support engineers to deliver comprehensive sales and technical support throughout his area.
“I am really looking forward to this exciting new chapter,” said Gareth. “Having worked for Grant UK for over ten years as part of their technical team and then installing Grant boilers and heat pumps for the past five years, I have a solid understanding of the products and what support customers need. I am looking forward to providing on-site technical support, assisting with designs and quotations, and building relationships with existing and new customers in my area.”
