Futurebuild unveils its 2023 seminar programme by the industry for the industry

Reaching net zero by 2050 is no simple task, and no one person or company has all the answers. That’s why it is essential to share our knowledge and learn from each other to effect real positive change in the built environment.

Futurebuild unveils its exciting 2023 seminar programme, which will be hosted in London.

Handing over the reins of their seminar programme to the great thinkers and disruptors in our sector, Futurebuild is doing its part to share the knowledge, give a forum to ask questions and, as a collective, start to bring to life some of the answers to help us deliver a better-built environment.

90 industry-leading partners

Curated and delivered by over 90 industry-leading partners and featuring a stellar line-up of over 300 speakers, the seminar programme is bringing the whole industry together to debate and learn from each other.

From 7th to 9th March at London’s ExCeL, the three-day programme will educate and inform across various subject areas with relevant content. Expanded for 2023, 135 seminar sessions will offer strength and breadth of content. They will be delivered across seven seminar stages, with one extensive programme dedicated to Energy & District Energy, sponsored by Kensa Heat Pumps.

CPD points to gain

The programme features practical and actionable CPD-accredited sessions so energy professionals can gain many CPD points in one visit and simultaneously acquire the knowledge and skills to help them in their day-to-day roles.

Not to be missed on the Energy & District Energy stage on day one is sponsor Kensa Heat Pumps, who will be talking about Delivering low carbon heating and cooling at scale. Other stand-out sessions on this stage include Net Zero Energy and New Housing, curated by Good Homes Alliance; Myth Busting: Ground Source Heat Pumps curated by GSHPA; Innovations in Heat Networks Sector for 2023, curated by UKDEA; and How much domestic energy do we really use and what low-level physical interventions can we make? curated by the Sustainable Energy Association.

Great names exhibiting

The seminar stage sits at the very heart of the Energy area at Futurebuild and hosts over 40 leading names from across the energy sector, including Aico Limited, Viessmann, SNRG Limited, Daikin UK, Kensa Contracting and last year’s Big Innovation Pitch winner, Sunamp Limited, to name just a few. With so many great names exhibiting, this area of the show is not to be missed.

“Our well-respected seminar programme will provide an opportunity for energy professionals, installers and specifiers to take a stand and speak on issues they are passionate about. These daily sessions on each of the stages will share the latest thinking and research to update, inform and inspire visitors to make a positive change,” explained Martin Hurn, event director at Futurebuild.

“Having a seminar stage dedicated to Energy & District Energy, we’re excited to see the sector come together to debate the key topics challenging this area of the construction sector”.
