Solarwatt scales up its UK operations in response to the energy crisis

Solarwatt has expanded its PV panel range and production capacity in response to the growing demand for renewable energy from installation partners and domestic and commercial customers across the country.

Solarwatt scales up its UK operations in response to the energy crisis with expansion of production facilities.

The company has invested in increased inventory across its hubs, including a dedicated central UK facility in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

Solarwatt is committed to addressing energy challenges resulting from the war in Ukraine. By using the world’s cheapest source of energy – solar power, Solarwatt is providing market-ready solutions to help households and businesses cope with surging utility price rises and fight climate change by minimising CO2 emissions.

Expansion of production facilities

As a response to the rising demand for solar PV, Solarwatt has taken several measures to maximise the supply of its premium panels, such as expanding its production facilities, boosting the output of its newly opened F8 line in Dresden and recruiting more staff, now totalling 700 worldwide.

Pol Spronck, UK managing director, Solarwatt, said: “The expansion of our production facilities means we can supply in volumes to satisfy demand from our installers and customers.”

Neal Goddard, UK sales director, Solarwatt, said: “Our increased production capability and expanded range means we can respond to the unprecedented demand we are seeing from across the UK for our high-quality solar offering, from households, businesses, and public bodies.”
