The event, on February 18 at Earley’s site near Thirsk, will include information on building suitability, boiler design, fuel handling, heat supply agreements and the RHI. Those attending will be able to see Earley Ornamentals’ recently installed 950kW system in action which heats 6 acres of glasshouse plant growing space.
It will also give businesses, particularly those in the horticulture sector, looking for a cost-effective alternative to fossil fuels an opportunity to quiz those operating biomass boilers on a day-to-day basis. Also attending is boiler suppliers Ashwell Biomass, Stockbridge Technology Centre and biomass installers EBTech Solutions. There will also be representatives from the NFU and Horticultural Trades Association.
