The competition took place at the 2012 Renewables Roadshow which stopped off at Coventry, Exeter, Harrogate, Glasgow, Manchester and London during the autumn.
Tradesmen who entered the competition had to remove and then reattach the pump head of Lowara’s latest domestic circulator pump – the Lowara Ecocirc – in the quickest time.
Stuart Alldritt, from Truro, emerged as the winner after completing the challenge in just 6.4 seconds at the Exeter leg of the show. The nearest rival recorded a time of 13.9 seconds in Coventry. All of the regional winners took away a Lowara Ecocirc as a prize, and Stuart was given £100 of Love2SHop vouchers.
Gary Wilde, marketing manager for Lowara UK Ltd, said: “The Renewables Roadshow is a great place for installers and trade professionals to gather and experience the environmentally friendly products currently on the market first hand.
“I’d like to thank all those who took part across the country and offer special congratulations to Stuart for his highly commendable competition time.”
