Graham Parkes appointed Commercial Director for Navien UK

Leading global manufacturer of boilers and hot water systems Navien UK has appointed industry expert Graham Parkes as commercial director to support its ambitious growth plans as the company celebrates its 10th year in the UK market.

Key appointment supports ambitious growth plans.

Graham joins Navien UK at a time of growth, as the company seeks to support the nation in its transition to future solutions for heating and hot water through renewable energy sources such as hydrogen power, hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) and ground source heat pumps.

Having started his career as an engineering apprentice at British Gas, Graham went on to become a commercial development manager before moving on to start his own business, working both in-house and as a consultant for the likes of Baxi, Vaillant Group and Glow Worm. With a focus on new technology and growth, Graham has worked extensively with a variety of start-ups focused on solutions aimed to help change the industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Graham said: “I’m eager to be joining Navien UK at such a challenging yet exciting time for the industry, as there’s no better time to get involved to support the growth of the company. With new developments in technology and everchanging regulations, Navien is in a prime position to bring its product development to the market and I’m looking forward to sharing some of these with our customers later this year.”

Graham is no stranger to Navien and his expertise is already well-known to the manufacturer. Having played an important role in helping Navien get settled in the UK market, he joined the team in-house as sales and marketing director in 2015 to support its plans to become the largest supplier of home comfort systems worldwide.

Opportunity

Graham continued: “I’m delighted to be back working with the well-established team here, who are backed by a range of products and cutting-edge technology, to help drive the business forward. Every day is a day of opportunity and Navien has everything to gain.”

Speaking on behalf of Navien UK, Sean Keleher, Technical Director added: “Graham’s extensive experience in the heating and plumbing industry will be a welcomed addition to the team as we look to expand our product and service offering in the market. His history working with renewable technology will be of added value as we seek to bring the industry into a new era of heating and hot water solutions.”

Navien UK will be at InstallerSHOW 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham on 25 – 27 June to showcase its full range of heating and hot water systems, as well as its leading ON AI technology.
