Grant UK has added a new addition to its Uflex underfloor heating controls range.

Grant UK adds new wireless control to its Uflex range

The NeoAir V2-M wireless programmable room thermostat is now available, joining their Uflex NeoStat V2 and Edge controls, all of which are compatible with the Grant Uflex and Uflex MINI underfloor heating systems.

A wireless option is now available in Grant UK’s Uflex underfloor heating controls range. The NeoAir V2-M is a battery-powered programmable room thermostat that has wireless RF connectivity. It can either be used as a thermostat, a time clock or as both a thermostat and hot water timer so it offers installers and their customers’ flexibility when it comes to installation.

One remote sensor can be connected to the NeoAir V2-M, which can either be used to monitor the floor temperature or it can provide remote air temperature sensing.

Suitable for open plan properties

The NeoAir is also compatible for use with single or multiple wireless air sensors when the control is paired to the NeoHub and NeoApp, making this wireless control ideally suited to large, open plan properties when an average air temperature needs to be calculated.

Similar to the Uflex NeoStat V2 and Uflex Edge controls, the NeoAir V2-M has a sleek white cased design, illuminated soft-touch keys, uses self-learning preheat functionality and has multiple programming options to suit the preferences and needs of the end-user. The NeoAir V2-M is designed to work with the UH8-RF Wiring Centre which is also available from Grant UK.

This wiring centre has 8 zones, each of which can be connected to up to four actuators with the NeoAir thermostats communicating with this wiring centre wirelessly via an RF signal.

“We are very pleased to add a wireless thermostat to our controls offering,” comments Paul Wakefield, Grant UK’s managing director.

Making installations quicker

“The NeoAir V2-M is simple to install and user-friendly for homeowners plus it has the added benefit of not requiring wiring which can make installation even quicker. The NeoAir also uses a mesh strengthening network which means that the connectivity improves when multiple devices are used, increasing the range when compared to standard RF thermostats.

“We hope this wireless control will be a welcome addition to our extensive package solutions range of renewable, sustainable home heating systems.”
