The new design is based on the Firematic 199kW model, but is aimed at energy intensive applications such as poultry farms and leisure centres.
Modifications mean the new HD model benefits from a greater thermal mass.
Paul Clark, managing director at Rural Energy, said: “With the continued pressure of rising fuel costs, the demand for large-scale biomass solutions is definitely increasing – particularly in applications where a constant temperature must be maintained over extended periods of time. We’ve listened to this customer feedback and worked closely with our manufacturing partner Herz to develop a solution that meets these needs.
“The new Herz Firematic 199kW HD gives another option for energy intensive applications, allowing customers to avoid potential headaches such as increased maintenance costs and shortened lifespans caused by pushing boilers beyond their design capacity.”
