REHAU announces Grand National events for GSHP installers

PR658 REHAU is hosting two Ground National events for contractors in the ground source sector
Contractors in the ground source heat pump sector can register now for two free events which will provide them with expert help and advice.

Organised by pipework specialists REHAU and dubbed the ‘Ground Nationals’, the events are being held first at Newbury Racecourse on Tuesday, 29 April and then at Doncaster racecourse on Thursday, 1 May.

Contractors who attend are promised a series of short presentations from experts in the sector, followed by practical demonstrations using REHAU’s range of pipework, fittings, manifold chambers, and ground source energy probes.

In keeping with the race course setting, there will be challenges and competitions for those who attend with lots of chances to win Race Day Tickets.  Contractors can find further details and register for free tickets to either the Newbury or Doncaster event via the website at www.rehau.co.uk/groundsource

Steve Richmond, business team manager for REHAU’s Renewables division, said:  “With the increase in the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for the non-domestic sector at the end of 2013 and the introduction of a domestic RHI this Spring, there has been a surge in interest in ground source because it offers such low running costs compared to other renewable heating options.

“However, ground source heat pumps are still a relatively new technology for some contractors and REHAU wants to educate installers to make the most of the opportunities which are currently out there in the market and the support which is available to help them.

“Our Ground National days will hopefully fill in those gaps in their knowledge and provide some really practical advice.”
