Kensa Heat Pumps has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Chris Davis as commercial director.

In his new role, Chris will be responsible for developing and delivering Kensa’s commercial strategy, leading sales, marketing and business development and growing new business opportunities for the company’s range of ground source heat pump solutions.

Chris previously worked as business development director for Dimplex Renewables and has worked in the heating industry for over 12 years. Chris has been a member of the MCS heat pump working group, a council member of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association and chairman of the BEAMA Domestic Heat Pump Association.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris Davis said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at Kensa.  We are entering an exciting time for the Renewable Heat sector and through some strategic new product developments and a thorough understanding of the emerging RHI policy, Kensa has created the opportunity to make itself extremely successful in the next few years, clearly demonstrating its ambition to remain a market leader.”

Simon Lomax, managing director of Kensa, added: “Kensa is delighted that Chris has agreed to spearhead the next phase of the company’s ambitious growth plans. Chris is widely respected throughout the renewables industry and it is hugely encouraging that he has chosen to focus his talents on developing sales at Kensa. The company is well-positioned to take full advantage of his considerable expertise as the market continues to recognise that ground source heat pumps represent the most efficient and least obtrusive renewable heat technology.”
