NAPIT launch electrical vehicle seminars

napit
NAPIT is encouraging installers to move into the electrical car market as this rapidly expanding market presents an opportunity to increase business.

According to the latest Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) statistics, sales of electric cars rose by 70 per cent in the first 7 months of 2013. Much of this interest has been prompted by recent government initiatives, with an announcement in February stating that £37 million will be made available for installation of electrical vehicle charging points.

NAPIT, in conjunction with Metrel and supported by Brother, are bringing a new seminars roadshow to the industry discussing electrical vehicle charging point installation and maintenance.

During the seminars, NAPIT will provide an industry brief on electrical vehicle charging, as well as an introduction to the new Electrical Vehicle course with NAPIT Training. Then, representatives from Metrel and Brother will discuss the range of products available for installers.
