DMS go low carbon

Metering specialist DMS is showing its green credentials by installing a ground source heat pump (GSHP) in its new 5,500 sq ft premises – into which it will move in next month.

A Nibe 1340 – 30 kw GSHP with cooling has been installed by Henson Heat Pumps to service the Nottinghamshire offices and warehouse with under-floor heating/cooling.

DMS have also installed an RHI compliant Sontex Superstatic 440 meter which the company says can accurately measure the energy produced in heating/cooling systems containing a glycol additive.

DMS is also lowering its carbon footprint by installing low voltage LED lighting throughout the building both internally and externally.

X-Cel House will also have an energy monitoring system which will be displayed on a monitor in the reception area.
