Ed Davey confirmed as headline speaker at The Energy Event 2013

Accepting defeat: Energy secretary Ed Davey says the latest court decision 'draws a line' under the matter
Energy secretary Ed Davey is today confirmed as headline speaker at The Energy Event, at the NEC in Birmingham on 10 September, running to 11 September.

Davey will address some of the 6,000 expected visitors at The Energy Event on Energy Market Reform, the role of energy efficiency in countering the future of increased energy demand and energy generation strategies for the UK.

Other key speakers sharing the platform with Davey include: Rosie Boycott, Journalist and media commentator; Dieter Helm, Professor of Energy Policy at Oxford’s New College; Paul Mason, Economics editor at Newsnight; Andy Pag, Eco-adventurer; and Lord Robert Winston, Professor of Science and Society at Imperial College and TV presenter.
