Caplor Energy reports an impressive level of enthusiasm from youngsters participating in two educational events during June, which aimed to promote the importance of conserving the environment.

According to the company, at the Herefordshire Eco-School activity day, children at the Caplor Energy trailer were fascinated to learn about how solar energy works, why renewables are an essential part of our future and what action can be taken to reduce energy consumption.

Young adults at the ‘Your Green Future Event’ held at the University of Worcester the following day were equally curious to find out what Caplor Energy does on a day-to-day basis and how the business contributes towards the green economy.

Caplor Energy says that participating in educational events is an important part of the work it does in inspiring a new generation to take control of the future of the planet.

Caplor Energy’s managing director, Gareth Williams, said: “It was encouraging to see so many young adults interested in furthering a career within the green sector; there are so many opportunities for rewarding and meaningful professions and I encourage more to take advantage of the opportunities available.

“Caplor is proud to have a strong background of providing work and graduate placements as well as apprenticeships and would encourage other businesses to offer these opportunities.”
