Solarcentury is on the move from Waterloo to Clerkenwell as the London-based PV company says it continues to thrive.

Established in 1998 and now approaching its 15th birthday, Solarcentury has grown from a UK-focused solar PV roofing specialist to expand overseas. It has installed 180MWp.

Frans van den Heuvel, ceo, said: “Our company and our market have matured. Our new presence, both physical and virtual, will reflect this. Solarcentury has a great name and reputation in the market. However, we felt our visual identity and working environment could do with a re-vamp in order to match the company’s global ambitions.”

The company has also created a new logo incorporating the strapline ‘infinite energy’ – a move which Solarcentury says will better reflect what PV can do for the world, as opposed to a focus purely on the cell technology behind it.
