Myriad Solar PV has announced the appointment of Lee Baxter to the role of general manager as it looks to drive forward its UK expansion plans.
Mr Baxter, 41, has been with the company for eight years, joining from SCG when it became part of Myriad CEG.
According to the company, one of the main tasks in his new role will be overseeing the development of an in-house “Value Engineering” department, which is seen as playing a key part in Myriad Solar PV’s future growth.
He said: “We are focused on delivering value engineering: quality that also gives our clients maximum value and adds a smartness and sharpness to the way we work with key supply chain partners.
“It is about listening and responding to the needs of our customers and ensuring that we work in a smarter way.
“There are different ways of delivering value for money; it is not always about price. Our approach to value engineering is that we are here to help our clients save money and deliver great quality.”
He added: “I am really looking forward to my new role and playing an important part in the future development of the company.
“We are winning strong orders on good, quality projects and a lot of our customers are coming back for repeat business.”
