The company made staff redundant on Friday 21 September. Managing director Chris Hopkins, who ran the company with his wife Helen, recently received the Yorkshire and Humber Award for Entrepreneur of the Year by the Institute of Directors and is a member of the Green Construction Board. He also appeared on BBC TV’s Dragons’ Den.
He told staff he expects to be trading under a new name in the next few weeks.
