Vaillant backs renewables centre

Heating specialist Vaillant has thrown its weight behind a new venture from Dorset-based A P Chant.

The Bridport installer recently opened The Core, a bespoke facility developed to educate and provide practical advice to customers wanting to embrace emerging technologies.

Vaillant says it has been fundamental to The Core project providing expertise and an extensive range of technologies for the showroom and training centre. Products include air to air and air to water heat pumps, and solar thermal technologies.

Dave Lacey, southern commercial director at Vaillant, said: “Businesses and consumers are hungry for more information around renewables and hands on experience of the technology available, and it is essential we provide them with evidence of their capabilities to increase the uptake.

“A P Chant’s investment in The Core is to be applauded. It offers customers an excellent facility to explore emerging technologies and hear advice first hand.”

A P Chant’s managing director, Ashley Chant, added: “We have made a significant investment with The Core, positioning A P Chant as more than another tradesman offering product. Vaillant is a manufacturer we have worked in partnership with for a number of years, and they have been a tremendous support to this project. It is crucial the bigger brands in the market back technology and support the installation community in encouraging adoption. Vaillant deserves credit for its work in this area.”
