Wood Energy has launched a biomass fuelled Green Heat Module. It has been specifically designed to be easily retrofitted onto large commercial and public sector buildings, making deployment of a biomass heating solution significantly simpler and much quicker than traditional complex installations.

The Green Heat Module represents the coming together of Wood Energy’s knowledge of biomass boilers and the global expertise in renewable energy within RES, giving customers a robust, turnkey route to a truly sustainable heating solution.

The company says that the Green Heat Module offers organisations a robust, pre-fabricated design that can operate as a standalone heat delivery unit, using wood pellets or chips or in conjunction with fossil-fuel fired boilers, which are simple to use.  With everything in-built, Wood Energy arrives on site, hooks up to an existing heating distribution system and sets the boiler in operation without the need to shut down existing heating systems.  Once up and running, the boiler can be operated and maintained by customers themselves or it can come with a service package so that fuel, meter readings and servicing are taken care of by Wood Energy.
