Dear Customer

The government's new Feed-in Tariff rates have provided much to talk about in the industry over the last few weeks. These long-anticipated figures have caused both pleasure and annoyance alike among our industry's stalwarts. Whilst energy secretary, Ed Miliband, stated that the new rates "will change the way householders and communities think about their future energy needs, making the payback for investment far shorter than in the past", some readers of REI have told us they feel the rates are too timid and need to be more attractive if we are to hit the government's target of getting 30% of our electricity from renewable sources - it currently stands at 5.5%.
Let us know what you think.

Kind regards
