Three in four installers unprepared for ErP, reports Worcester, Bosch

Worcester launches ErP Week
78 percent of installers do not feel prepared for the introduction of the ErP Energy Labelling Directive in September, according to a survey by Worcester, Bosch.

The study of 500 installers shows a significant knowledge gap whilst over half of respondents were worried about the effect ErP will have on their day to day duties.

Worcester, Bosch responded to the findings by creating a dedicated ErP week (running June 8-12) involving online webinars and live Q&A sessions.

Martin Bridges, director of marketing and technical support, said: “Our survey has revealed that the industry still has a knowledge gap to bridge in order for the new energy labelling scheme to be implemented successfully. We want installers to know that there is a vast support network in place at Worcester to aid them over the coming months.”
