Bavenhill Mechanics has received a Green Gateway Award from Mitsubishi Electric for its work applying heat pumps in the agricultural sector.

The awards have been created by Mitsubishi Electric to recognise the work of its partners.

Steve Fleming, general sales manager for Mitsubishi Electric, presented the company with the Award at its recent Heating Partner Conference, held at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire. The annual conference also gave the company the opportunity to introduce the new range of Ecodan models to its major customers.

“Bavenhill Mechanics has been instrumental in highlighting the substantial benefits that heat pumps can offer farmers and demonstrated the true value of partnership between a supplier and its customer,” said Steve.

“They thoroughly deserve this award because of the innovative way they have introduced heat pumps into a new sector which has had a phenomenal impact on C02 emissions and offers significant costs savings for the client.”

Bavenhill Mechanics also receive £1,000 from Mitsubishi Electric to donate to a charity of its choice. Led by Chris Chapman, the accredited Ecodan installer operates throughout the West Midlands and Welsh border counties.
