Caplor Energy opens its doors

Climate Week visit
Herefordshire-based Caplor Energy opened its doors last week to welcome schools, organisations and the general public to visit examples of renewable energy systems as part of Climate Week 2013.

The Caplor Energy open event saw a variety of interested parties visit the offices, including members of Llandrindod Wells 6th Form, who came as part of an industrial visit for their A Levels. Overall, Climate Week saw more than half a million people attend over 3400 events across the nation.

Marketing coordinator, John Powell, said: “It was a real pleasure to meet students genuinely interested in what can be done to help combat climate change. We hope that we’ve inspired those that came to take simple steps in their day to day routine, which can really make a difference to our impact on the environment.”

The success of the week has led Caplor Energy to keep its doors open every Friday afternoon, from 14.00 – 16.00, allowing for anyone who missed their chance in Climate Week to still be able to come and learn.
