Specflue reports a great 12 months

Specflue Training Division reports a ‘busy and very effective’ 2012 following the opening of a renewable energy centre and the launch of a new range of biomass boilers.

During the last 12 months Specflue Training Division says it has seen a large increase in numbers through the centres with an average of 150 delegates a month using the facilities for training and certification.

The company also says it has topped the tables in quality with fantastic satisfaction rates and accuracy of paperwork from the candidates.

Training Division manager, Jed Smith, said: “We have some very stringent key performance indicators to achieve as rightly the sector sets its standards very high. Specflue has built its reputation on the quality of service to the customer and this ethos is carried through to the quality of our training. This is what our customers expect and receive.

“We have some very dedicated people here and the achievements of the Training Division this year have been outstanding and measurable.

“The facilities here allow people the best of environments to learn. It also ensures all our internal staff have every opportunity to remain knowledgeable on the biomass, renewable and flue products we supply.

“2013 will provide Specflue Training Division with new challenges, plans to extend the facilities, increase the renewable course portfolio and support the internal growth of Specflue are all some of the objectives ahead.

He added:The Specflue Training Division is also working with some of the Competent Person Schemes to ensure savings can be generated and passed on for CPS and MCS membership. Specflue is an innovative and forward thinking organisation and we will always push for better levels of service and joined – up thinking within the solid fuel sector and the renewables market.”
