HETAS has made two additions to its team. Robert Burke has been appointed as the new technical director for biomass trade association HETAS. He has previously worked at HETAS, and has a solid background in both the domestic and commercial solid fuel and biomass industry. Part of Burke’s role is to represent HETAS at national and European level on various technical committees, setting standards for solid fuel and biomass installations.

In addition, Courtney-Wiggins has joined HETAS as registration manager. She has previously worked for a manufacturer of heating solutions so already has a good knowledge and understanding of the industry. She will be responsible for the HETAS competent persons scheme which operates in England and Wales, and will also be working on developing the HETAS Microgeneration Certification Scheme for Installers.
