Solfex named UK’s fifth fastest growing private company

Solfex Energy Systems has announced today that it has been listed as the UK’s 5th fastest growing private company in the 16th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

With a team of only 15 staff, Solfex has a cumulative annual growth rate of revenue of 179% over the past three years. In September 2011, it secured equity investment from Panoramic Growth Equity, the leading equity investor in fast growing, entrepreneurial companies.  The company expects revenues and profits to continue to grow in the current year by more than 50% as a result of its exceptional supplier relationships, broad product range and continued focus on customer service.

Stuart Cooper, Managing Director of Solfex Energy Systems said: “Over the past five years the renewable sector has gone through transformational growth.  Since inception we have prided ourselves on continuing to stay ahead in terms of new innovation and developing strong relationships with our suppliers to provide the renewable products installers require.  Our inclusion at 5th in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 is testament to the work that the team at Solfex have put in over the years.  We continue to broaden our product range and develop our distribution platform and as a result expect to continue this revenue growth in the years to come.”

Solfex was set up in 2006 by Stuart and Susan Cooper and today operates as an independent value added integrator of renewable energy systems, utilising its distribution platform to integrate and supply components to the UK’s renewable companies. The business prides itself on providing a “value added” service to customers through comprehensive technical and customer support.
