Kensa makes RHPP appeal

Ground source heat pump manufacturer Kensa Engineering is appealing to social housing landlords to take advantage of the government’s Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) competition.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) launched the competition in May allowing social housing landlords to apply for significant funding towards the cost of installing ground source heat pumps. Kensa says it has already delivered 70 of the 110 installations approved for funding under the first RHPP competition run last year.

Organisations has until 04 July 2012 to apply for funding up to a maximum of £6000 per property with the most substantial funding going towards properties using more carbon-intensive fuels such as solid fuel and direct electric.
