Renewables installer of the Year

Ground Heat Installations was recently named overall renewables installer of the Year at the inaugural Renewables Awards.

The company scooped a massive £10,000 prize on the night courtesy of Plumb Center.  The award was presented by Countryfile and ex-Watchdog presenter, Julia Bradbury and Simon Allan, Director of Renewables, Plumb Center.

Ground Heat Installations has been in operation for seven years and has overcome a variety of challenges during that time including the award-winning installation of collector coils in Westport Lake.

Simon Allan commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to support the Renewables Awards, which celebrate and promote renewables technology, projects and the work of installers.

“It is becoming increasingly apparent that the environment is being affected by carbon emissions and poor energy efficiency and so it is vital that the momentum that has been building to tackle these, by both manufacturers and installing companies, is recognised and rewarded.”

Ground Heat directors, Dave Thompson and Stewart Cragg collected the award.  Dave said: “We were really pleased to be named Ground Source Installer of the Year but to be named overall Renewables Installer of the Year with a £10,000 prize was the icing on the cake!

“We are passionate about our work and, as every installation is unique, we are committed to finding the best solution for our clients.
