Vaillant has unveiled two new additions to its range of aroTHERM domestic air to water heat pumps.

The new 5kW and 15kW outputs complement the existing 8kW and 11kW models, giving installers and homeowners more choice.

System kits and accessories are invaluable including a back up heater, a wall hung 40 litre buffer tank, and a heat exchange module. Both standalone and hybrid systems include a weather compensated control unit VRC470 as standard.

Mark Derbyshire, commercial director at Vaillant, said: “With over 1,000 installations accredited in the first few weeks of the d-RHI’s launch, it’s clear that renewable technology is rising up the agenda for homeowners.

“The new 5kW and 15kW models expand upon the existing aroTHERM range to offer our customers an air to water heat pump which is attractively priced but still meets all of Vaillant’s high quality standards. As with the rest of our products, all of the design, development, and manufacturing work is carried out by Vaillant itself.”

Mark continued: “The addition of two new outputs to our aroTHERM range further underlines Vaillant’s commitment to the renewable sector and to providing clear, flexible solutions for homeowners.

“We have also recently launched an online Renewables Calculator that enables users to quickly and easily calculate their potential savings should they switch to renewable technology, while our Vaillant Village Green road show is also touring various locations across the country partnering with renewables installers, promoting renewable technology and the various funding streams now available to homeowners.”
