Jeremy and Jan Fry celebrate the opening of Specflue’s new northern depot
Specflue opened its new northern depot in Gilcar Way, Castleford, West Yorkshire on Thursday 03 July.

Managing director Jeremy Fry, and his wife Jan who is also purchasing director, visited the depot to join in the celebrations as the doors opened for business and welcomed its first customers.

The depot is just off junction 31 of the M62 and, as well as creating 12 new jobs for local people, provides 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, a trade counter and ample customer parking.

Jeremy said: “This is an important strategic step in the company’s growth and today marks the culmination of a year’s planning, to get Specflue an outlet in the north that will enable us to service our customers based from the Midlands to the Scottish Border.

“We chose Castleford as it is a pivotal point in the UK with excellent transport links. Our new depot can, not only be easily accessed by our customers, but also allows us – through out fleet of new service vehicles – to fulfil our next day delivery service pledge.”
