Rural Energy has reported a significant boost in biomass sales following the award of a major industry accolade.

The company was named ‘Installer of the Year’ in the Renewable Energy Awards, which took place in London earlier this month.

Rural Energy’s managing director Paul Clark said there had been an increase in both enquiries and sales after receiving the honour at a black tie gala dinner held at London’s Savoy Hotel.

He said: “It is fantastic that the work of Rural Energy has been recognised by the renewable energy sector.

“This award is a great testament to the hard work, dedication and expertise of our team and its superb record of delivery.

“We are winning a growing number of contracts in the farming, agriculture, healthcare and education sectors, which are key areas for us.”
