Wagner Solar to show installers ‘the way forward’

wagner
Wagner Solar is to host a one day event on Tuesday 23 April designed to help PV installers learn about the latest technology.

Called ‘The way forward’, Wagner Solar says it will bring together European module manufacturer Voltec, microinverter producer Enphase Energy and energy control provider Greenologic to showcase latest products. Wagner Solar will present details of its commercial mounting and ground mounted portfolio.

Wagner Solar says the event has been motivated by the uncertainty brought about by the possible imposition of EU tariffs on imported Chinese modules.

Wagner Solar has therefore organised this event to help PV installers source new products that will continue to offer the level of financial returns sought by homeowners investing in solar systems.

In an effort to help installers understand the changing political landscape surrounding the PV sector, the Solar Trade Association are invited as the keynote speaker and will be presenting details on the policy changes and financial returns still available to customers.

Chief executive Paul Barwell, said: “The STA has worked hard with DECC to create a stable environment for FIT’s and the RO for the next few years, and returns for the customer have never been better.  But staying informed on political changes in the PV landscape, understanding FITs and the degression mechanism and assessing the risks to your business with the EC anti-dumping case are key building blocks for this event run by Wagner Solar.”

Speaking from its Chichester headquarters, Wagner Solar managing director, Mark Osborne, added: “At Wagner Solar, we pride ourselves in the support and guidance we offer our customers, particularly on commercial project design. We are at a critical juncture in the industry and our role in guiding installers through this tough time has never been more important. We have designed this one day programme to help installers move into new and related areas so they can innovate their business and build a platform for sustained growth.”
