According to the company, the support is made from cast iron and has a hole pattern to provide fixing flexibility. It is compatible with most clay and concrete roof tiles including plain tiles, natural slates and fibre-cement slates and usable on pitches from 15°- 65°.
A base slate or tile avoids any need for tile modification while adaptors enable the Panel Support to be used with a wide variety of PV rail systems. The product has been tested by the TÜV Rheinland Photovoltaic Testing Laboratory and by the LGA for load bearing capacity.
