TLT advise Co-op on 20MW wind project

Bristol-based law firm TLT has advised the Co-operative Group in relation to the 20MW ten wind turbine project at Biggleswade, Bedfordshire it is financing through a multi-million pound loan.

TLT says it has advised on debt financing, real estate, construction and power purchase agreements of the wind farm which is designed to power 18,000 homes and save 36,800 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Maria Connolly, head of TLT’s renewable energy team, said: “TLT has a longstanding relation with The Co-operative Group having advised them on financial services and retail operations for a number of years. We are delighted to advise them on this project, helping the Group’s commitment to develop renewables projects.”
