Good Energy secures National Trust partnership

Renewable energy supplier Good Energy has been chosen by the National Trust to become its principle energy partner.

The signed agreement will enable Good Energy to provide clean electricity to over four million National Trust members, supporters and volunteers.

The three year deal followed on from a competitive selection process which saw Good Energy picked ahead of the ‘Big Six’ energy suppliers.

As well as helping the National Trust meet its target to halve fossil fuel use by 2020, the company will give £40 to the organisation for each National Trust supporter who signs up to Good Energy’s gas and electricity tariff.

Juliet Davenport, ceo and founder of Good Energy, said: “We believe that Good Energy shares many of the same values as the National Trust and its members. This partnership therefore provides us with an excellent opportunity to directly offer a significant number of potential target customers our market leading renewable electricity tariff and dual fuel offering.

“We place lots of emphasis on developing agreements of this nature in growing our customer base and we are delighted to have been selected and look forward to working closely with the National Trust and its members over the coming years.”
