Och aya renew

Plumb Center is to open what it says is Scotland’s first renewable training academy.

Falkirk Renewables Centre, due to open on 29th October, will be Plumb Center’s eighth academy and will offer BPEC and HETAS accredited courses in biomass, solar thermal, heat pump and PV installation. Heating engineers wishing to become Green Deal Installers and Advisors will also be able to train at the centre.

“We are delighted to open our first renewables training academy in Scotland,” said Robert Beagler, Plumb Center’s regional trading director. “It gives installers access to the top class training vital for their futures. It is also the first HETAS accredited centre in Scotland.

“We’re proud that many of the market leaders in renewable technology have joined forces with us to offer displays. Our industry is changing beyond all recognition and we’re determined to give our customers the green credentials and knowledge to prosper.”
