Energy Solutions 2012 returns soon

Energy Solutions (www.energysolutionsexpo.co.uk) 2012 is all set to return for another year, running from 10-11 October at London’s Olympia. The exhibition for energy management professionals combines both an ideal space to showcase the latest products and innovations with a quality free-to-attend education programme, which this year will host Lord Sebastian Coe as its keynote speaker.

Energy Solutions aims to provide the ideal opportunity for key decision makers and industry experts to engage in discussion about the pertinent issues affecting energy management across a range of sectors, in 2012 and beyond. Focusing on how organisations can combat energy costs and consumption, comply with regulation, reduce carbon output and enhance CSR policies, Energy Solutions says it is recognised as the UK’s leading energy management event.

New this year a fully-powered working building, the Envirolink feature will displaying a selection of market-leading products. The working building will be interactive, giving visitors the opportunity to test market innovations, and find out how technologies can work together to reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint first-hand.

As part of Energy Solutions 2012 education programme Lord Sebastian Coe KBE will give the keynote address. Lord Sebastian Coe KBE, fresh from his pivotal role in the biggest sporting event of the year, will address the audience on the challenges he has faced throughout his career, specifically his role as part of a leadership team managing high-profile projects with huge sustainability targets. He will also discuss how he motivates change in mindset and behaviour to achieve project goals.

The CPD accredited education programme has the full support of all the major energy associations and industry groups including BRE, the Carbon Trust and the Energy Institute. With many employers now valuing ‘learning agility’ as a core competency, the CPD accredited programme at Energy Solutions will provide professionals working within the energy sector with over 20 hours of tailored sessions, helping them build valuable industry knowledge.
