Back in black

New for 2012 is a black colour to add to Redland’s range of Norfolk Pantiles.   Launched in response to demand from housebuilders, Redland sayS IT anticipates that the main market for the product will be in the East Anglian region.

The black colour is achieved by applying a pigmented acrylic to the surface and leading edge of the concrete Pantile. Particular attention has been paid by Redland to ensuring that this surface is not damaged in transit or storage, so each of the new tiles has wax protecting pads on the underside to ensure the surface is not damaged or scuffed when the products are packaged.

This is the fifth black tile to be introduced by Redland – the colour is already available in the Mini Stonewold, Plain Tile, Richmond and Saxon ranges.   Further developments are in the pipeline for the pantile range which will see the introduction of an additional colour later in the year.
