REC scoops Frost & Sullivan award

PV supplier Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) has been awarded Frost & Sullivan’s 2011 Global Customer Value Enhancement Award in the solar market.

The award is presented each year to the company within a particular industry for demonstrating excellence and creating value for its customers. REC was chosen in the solar category with specific mention of its technical expertise, investment in R & D and the introduction of its Fluidized Bed Reactor (FBR) technology.

Luc Graré, REC’s senior vice president, sales and marketing, cells and modules, said: “We are very pleased to be recognised by Frost & Sullivan for our efforts to reduce production costs and energy consumption to provide customers with greater accessability to high-quality solar modules, improving their return on investment.

“We continue to build long-term partnerships with distributors and installers through the REC Partner and REC Solar Professional programmes, and ensure solar energy customers gain added value with our our focus on solar from silicon production through to systems.”
