The National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies has launched a range of technical guides for renewable installers to use as a reference when pricing, sizing and installing technologies.

The A6 pocket guides contain information relating to health and safety requirements, building regulations, installation, best practice and commissioning checks.

Guides have been published for the following technologies: PV, solar thermal, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, greywater reuse systems, rainwater harvesting systems

Cathryn Hickey, executive director for Skills Academy, said: “As we see the environmental technology market grow, our practical and informative guides will prove invaluable for installers.
