Alumet scoops triple award

Trevor Baylis OBE presents Dean Walton with Alumet's trophy

Construction and renewable energy company Alumet has been awarded a third Green Apple Award for environmental excellence for a third consecutive year.

Alumet’s director Deal Walton picked up the award from inventor Trevor Bayliss OBE at a ceremony held earlier this week at London’s Canary Wharf.

Dean Walton said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive our third Green Apple award. We have been working tirelessly to improve our sustainability standards throughout the business. It is fantastic to have our achievements validated by the Green Apple judges.”

Green Apple organiser Richard Collins added: “It’s really great to see continuous best practice improving year on year. Alumet’s achievements are both progressive and innovative and provide a great template for others to follow.”
