GB-Sol gets ahead of the game

GB-Sol says it roof-integrated mounting system already meets MCS’s new standards – MCS012 – which will become compulsory for manufacturers in 18 months time.

The South Wales-based company adds that all its products have been tested to levels above and beyond those required by MCS both in regards to wind uplift and rain penetration.

Bruce Cross of GB-Sol added: “Installers who buy the GB-Sol PV roof kits get a market leading product with the longest UK track record at a cost-effective price. They have been reporting back to us that the total time of installing the integrated system on a new-build development is much less than that to install an over roof system. When combined with the savings on roof coverings, the total project cost for our RIS is often cheaper than an overtile system.”
