REC scoops panel performance award

REC's senior vice president, sales and marketing, Luc Grare

REC’s PV modules have been ranked first by the Photon Laboratory 2011 performance tests.

The Photon Field Performance Test saw modules from over 45 brands tested at a laboratory location in Germany measuring how many kilowatt hours of electricity were produced in real life conditions. On average, REC says its modules produced 6 per cent more power than other brands.

Results published in the German magazine Photon Profi indicated that REC scored the highest performance ratio of 90.8 per cent and the highest yield of 1150.4 kWh/kW.

Luc Grare, senior vice president, sales and marketing, said: “This award confirms that REC leads the industry in delivering quality and demonstrates our commitment to quality and efficiency. This is great news for our partners and customers.”
